2013 trailer for Witches! the Musical. This video contains clips from the October 2012 premiere show at the Lincoln Theater in Mount Vernon, WA. Thank you to Theater Arts Guild, cast, crew and the wonderful audiences that all supported our first run.
This Salem musical shows events of the 1692 witch trials.
We are excited to announce that Witches! the Musical will run June 2014 at the Whitby Courthouse Theater. Director John Lunman will lead the Whitby youth theater group in this production.

Tuesday, April 30th, 2013 at 7pm – A free public video presentation of Witches! the Musical. 60 seats will be reserved for cast and crew – the remaining seats open to the public on a first come festival seating basis.

Claire Andrews (Ensemble, Minion) is an eleven year old who has found her passion for the stage being in the cast of Witches! She will have opened in six shows in 12 months. She has performed with META, I Can Fly Productions, Shakespeare Northwest and now TAG. Claire made her way to theater following six years of dance and two years of piano. As a 6th grade student at Lincoln Elementary, she is passionate about literature, math, German and her guinea pig, Patches.

Skagit County’s Theater Arts Guild presents “Witches! The Musical,” a Halloween world-premiere production, at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19-20, Oct. 26-27, Oct. 31 and Nov. 1-2, and 2 p.m. Oct. 28 at Lincoln Theatre, 712 S. First St., in Mount Vernon.
Famous historical characters come to life as the musical combines the dark events of the Salem witch trials with a score of rock, hip hop, classical and 20th century music. Tickets, $10 to $24, are available at lincolntheatre.org.

They’re On A Witch Hunt
The Salem Witch Trials and resulting executions of 1692 echo strongly down through the ages. They are considered seminal events from the early years of European settlement in the new world. But upon close inspection the Witch Trials become more than a harrowing, cautionary tale from a more primitive time. For although they took place 86 years before the Declaration of Independence, the social strata, personalities and conflicts that were firmly in place in this small village on the edge of the wilderness are American archetypes.
